ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தரும், மரபும்

கர்மயோகி

1. The tradition is traditional.
   Sri Aurobindo is evolutionary.
   பரம்பரையே மரபு.
   பரிணாமமே ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர்.
2. The tradition seeks moksha.
   Sri Aurobindo asks for transformation.
   மரபு மோட்சத்தை நாடுகிறது.
   ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர் திருவுருமாற்றத்தைக் கோருகிறார்.
3. Realisation of Jivatma, realisation of Paramatma, and entering the Absolute at three levels are the various stages of moksha.
   Psychic transformation, spiritual transformation, Supramental transformation are the three levels of His transformation.
   ஜீவாத்மாவை அறிதல், பரமாத்மாவை அறிதல், பிரம்மத்துள் மூன்று நிலைகளில் நுழைதல் ஆகியன மோட்சத்தின் பல கட்டங்களாகும்.
   சைத்தியத் திருவுருமாற்றம், ஆன்மீகத் திருவுருமாற்றம், சத்தியஜீவியத் திருவுருமாற்றம் ஆகியன ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர் கூறும் திருவுருமாற்றத்தின் மூன்று நிலைகளாகும்.
4. Karma is inescapable and therefore inevitable for the tradition.
   Karma can be overcome and even can be transformed, says Sri Aurobindo.
   கர்மத்திலிருந்து தப்ப முடியாது, எனவே அதை தவிர்க்கவும் முடியாது என்று மரபு கூறுகிறது.
   கர்மத்தை விலக்க முடியும், அதை திருவுருமாற்றவும் முடியும் என்று ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர் கூறுகிறார்.
5. Tradition shuns life and women.
   Sri Aurobindo wants Life to be transformed into divine life. Woman, according to Him, completes Man's yoga.
   மரபு வாழ்வையும், பெண்களையும் விலக்குகிறது.
   ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர் வாழ்வை இறைவாழ்வாக திருவுருமாற்ற விரும்புகிறார். அவரைப் பொருத்தவரை பெண்ணே ஆணின் யோகத்தை பூர்த்தி செய்கிறாள்.
6. Mind is final for the tradition.
   Mind evolves into Supermind for Sri Aurobindo.
   மரபிற்கு மனமே இறுதி.
   ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தருக்கு மனம் சத்தியஜீவியமாக பரிணமிக்க வேண்டும்.
7. Tradition knows Matter is divine, but does not try to realise it.
   Sri Aurobindo says Matter is delight of Being. He reconciles Matter with Spirit at cosmic consciousness and again at Transcendent Consciousness.
   மரபு ஜடத்தை இறைவனென்று அறிந்திருந்தபோதிலும், அதை அடைய முயலவில்லை.
   ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர் சத்தின் ஆனந்தமே ஜடம் என்கிறார். அவர் பிரபஞ்ச ஜீவியத்திலும், மீண்டும் வரைகடந்த ஜீவியத்திலும் ஆன்மாவிற்கும் ஜடத்திற்கும் இசைவைக் காண்கிறார்.
8. Tradition wants us to live a pious life so that we may reach moksha.
   Sri Aurobindo wants the spirit in Life to evolve and bring paradise on earth.
   நாம் தூயநெறிமிக்க வாழ்வை மேற்கொண்டு, மோட்சத்தை அடைய வேண்டுமென மரபு விரும்புகிறது.
   வாழ்விலுள்ள ஆன்மா பரிணாமம் பெறுவதன் மூலம் பூலோகத்திற்கு சொர்க்கத்தை வரவழைக்க வேண்டுமென ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர் விரும்புகிறார்.
9. Tradition considers Money as evil.
   To Sri Aurobindo, Money is the spiritual foundation for Supermind.
   மரபு பணத்தைத் தீமையாகக் கருதுகிறது.
   பணம் சத்தியஜீவியத்தின் ஆன்மீக அடித்தளம் என்று ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர் கூறுகிறார்.
10. Tradition sees sins and virtue – பாவ, புண்ணியம் – in life.
    மரபு வாழ்வில் பாவ, புண்ணியத்தைக் காண்கிறது.
    ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தர் செயல்களை மட்டுமே காண்கிறார். அவர் பாவத்தையும், புண்ணியத்தையும் காண்பதில்லை.
