XIII. The Divine Maya

13.தெய்வீக மாயை

There can be an infinite Mind.

அனந்தமாக மனமிருக்க முடியும்.

Let us suppose that Mind has the character of our Mind.

அம்மனத்திற்கு நம் மனத்தின் சுபாவமிருப்பதாகக் கொள்வோம்.

It can construct a cosmos.

அதுவும் சிருஷ்டிக்கும்.

It will be an accidental one.

அது தற்செயலான சிருஷ்டியாக இருக்கும்.

There will be conflicting possibilities.

அங்கு நிகழ்ச்சிகள் முரண்பாடாக இருக்கும்.

What it shapes will be transcient.

அதன் சிருஷ்டி க்ஷணத்தில் மறைவதாக இருக்கும்.

The possibilities will be shifting.

நிகழ்ச்சிகள் நிலையற்றிருக்கும்.

Even in the drift, it will be uncertain.

அடித்துக் கொண்டு போகும் பொழுதும், எங்குப் போகிறோம் எனத் தெரியாது.

It will be neither real nor unreal.

அதை உண்மைஎன்றோ, மாயை என்றோ சொல்ல முடியாது.

It can have no aim or end.

அதற்கு இலட்சியமோ, முடிவோ இல்லை.

It will be an endless succession of aims.

அது நோக்கமற்ற போக்காக இருக்கும்.

The aims will be momentary.

இலட்சியம் க்ஷணத்திற்குரியதாகும்.

They will lead nowithher.

அது எங்குப் போகும் எனத் தெரியாது.

It is so, because there is no direction.

வழி நடத்துபவரில்லை என்பதால் அப்படியிருக்கும்.

There must be a superior power for directing.

வழிநடத்த பெரிய சக்தி தேவை.

It is pure noumenalism.

அது யதார்த்தமானது.

Nihilism is its logical conclusion.

அது சூன்யத்தில் முடியும்.

Illusionism too can emerge out of it.

மாயை அதற்குரியது.

Or some kindred philosophy will arise out of it.

அதுபோன்ற தத்துவம் அதனின்றெழும்.

Such a construction will not reflect the truth.

அப்படிப்பட்ட சிருஷ்டி உண்மையான பிரபஞ்சமாகாது.

It will be a false presentation.

அது ஒரு தவறான பிரதிபலிப்பாகும்.

It will be a distorted reflection.

அது சிதறிய சித்திரமாகும்.

The cosmic existence would be a struggle of Mind.

அங்கு பிரபஞ்சம் மனப் போராட்டத்திற்குரியதாகும்.

Mind will struggle to work out its imaginations.

மனம் தன் கற்பனைக்கு வடிவம் கொடுக்க முயலுவதாகும்.

It won't succeed.

அது பliக்காது.

It fails because there is no basis.

அடிப்படையில்லாததால் அது பலிக்காது.

For it to succeed, a basis of self-truth is necessary.

அதற்கென ஓர் உண்மையிருந்தால் பலிக்கும்.

It will be overpowered by the past energies.

கடந்தவை அதை நிர்ணயிக்கும்.

The past energies are a stream.

கடந்தவை ஆறாக ஊற்றெடுக்கும்.

It will be thus carried forward forever.

அப்படியே அது போனபடியிருக்கும்.

There will be no issue.

முடிவு என்று ஒன்றிருக்காது.

It will continue till it falls into external stillness.

மௌனத்தில் முடியும்வரை அது தொடரும்.

Or it must destroy itself.

அல்லது, அது பிரளயத்தால் அழியும்.

There is an original conception.

ஆதிக்கு ஒரு கருத்துண்டு.

It is at work in the universe.

அது பிரபஞ்சத்தில் வேலை செய்கிறது.

Our mentality is human.

நம் மனம் மனித மனம்.

It can represent the cosmos as a Nihil.

அது பிரபஞ்சத்தைச் சூன்யமாகக் காட்டும்.

Or, it can do so as illusion.

அல்லது மாயை எனக் கூறும்.

Anything like our mentality can only do so.

நம் மனம்போன்ற எதுவும் செய்யக்கூடியது அது.

It is the root of Nihilism or Illusionism.

அதுவே சூன்யவாதம், மாயாவாத அடிப்படை.

But there is a higher force.

உயர்ந்த சக்தியுண்டு.

It has a knowledge.

அதற்கு ஞானம் உண்டு.

It has its original power.

அதற்குச் சக்தியுண்டு.

We can find it.

நாம் அதைக் காணலாம்.

It is higher than our human mentality.

அது நம் மனத்தைவிட உயர்ந்தது.

Then our conception of the universe changes.

அதன் நோக்கம் பிரபஞ்சத்தை வேறாகக் கூறும்.

It becomes insufficient.

அது போதாது.

Also, it becomes invalid.

அதற்குப் பலிதமில்லை.

The universe has an immediate appearance.

பிரபஞ்சத்திற்குப் பார்த்தவுடன் தோன்றும் தோற்றம் உண்டு.

Mental conception is its law.

சட்டம் என்பது நாம் அதை மனத்தால் அறிவது.

But it is not the original truth.

ஆனால் அது உண்மையில்லை.

Nor, is it the ultimate fact.

அதுவே முடிவானதுமன்று.

Behind Life, body and Mind there is something.

உடல், உயிர், மனத்தின் பின் வேறொன்றுள்ளது.

We perceive it.

நாம் அதைக் காண்கிறோம்.

The stream of Force does not embrace it.

சக்தியலைகள் அதைத் தழுவுவதில்லை.

That embraces and controls the stream.

அது அலைகளைத் தழுவுவதுடன், அவற்றை ஆட்சி செய்யும்.

It is not yet born into the world.

அது இன்னும் உலகில் பிறக்கவில்லை.

The stream seeks to interpret it.

அலைகள் அதை நமக்கு உணர்த்த முயல்கின்றன.

It has created in its being a world.

தன் ஜீவனில் அது உலகை சிருஷ்டித்தது.

It is omniscient.

அது எல்லாவற்றையும் அறியும்.

The past energies spurge.

கடந்தகால சக்திகள் பிரவாகமாக எழுகின்றன.

It is overmastering.

அதை மீற முடியாது.

It labours perpetually.

தொடர்ந்து அது முயல்கிறது.

It tries to form something out of itself.

தன்னுள்ளிருந்து ஒன்றை உற்பத்தி செய்ய நினைக்கிறது.

It cannot control the past energies.

அதனால் கடந்த சக்திகளைக் கட்டுப்படுத்த முடியாது.

There is a perfect Form.

ரூபத்திற்குச் சிறப்புண்டு.

It is there already in its consciousness.

ரூபம் ஏற்கனவே அதன் ஜீவியத்திலுள்ளது.

It is gradually unfolding in the world.

அது கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக உலகில் மலர்கிறது.

There is a foreseen Truth.

அது எதிர்காலத்திற்குரிய சத்தியம்.

The world expresses it.

உலகம் அதை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது.

There is a predetermining will.

விதிக்கப்பட்ட விதியுண்டு.

The world obeys it.

உலகம் அதற்கு உட்படுகிறது.

There is an original formative Self-vision.

ஆதிக்குச் சொந்த திருஷ்டியுண்டு.

The world realises it.

உலகம் அதை உணரும்.

It is the image of divine creation.

இறைவனின் படைப்பை அது எடுத்துக்காட்டும்.

The image is growing.

அது நாளுக்கு நாள் வளரும்.
