Do we have to choose between spiritual and social accomplishment as contradictory objectives?

Do I have to choose between spiritual and social progress? The highest accomplishments can only be attained by inner spiritual progress. All exceptions are partial and achieved in one field or area by sacrificing or compromising all others. Supramental accomplishment in life is of the whole spirit and life, not the part. There is no standard external sign of spiritual progress. The closest standard is equality. Social progress can be achieved through lower methods that prevent spiritual progress and that has often been true in the past. But the Integral Yoga is a path to unlimited progress in life through inner spiritual means. It is to reunite spirit and nature and fully express the powers of spirit in life.
