TO EXERCISE THE WILL

WILL OF MEMORY: Plan out some essentials that are routine for the day in a certain order and keep the order by the Will of Memory.

WILL OF THOUGHT: Take simple acts (and later, complex actions) and sift them into their Primary strands for examining the validity of their thought-content. This is inquiry or vichara.

WILL OF CONSCIOUSNESS: When aspects of consciousness like light, love, silence, bliss, freedom, etc. touch the being, exercise the Will to keep them a little longer than the previous occasion. Even a minute longer is sufficient. The Will is to be exercised, not to hold on to the aspect, but to keep up the conducive atmosphere the other parts of the being are capable of.
