- Energy meant for surrender becomes force fit to achieve surrender by the will that directs it to evolution.
ஜீவன் சரணாகதியைத் தீவிரமாக நாடாவிட்டால் ஆரம்பித்த சரணாகதி சக்தியாகவே இருக்கும். சரணாகதியை மனிதன் நாடினால்தான் கிட்டும்.
- The force of surrender is organised into power to achieve surrender by our character organised by humility, not by ego.
சுபாவம் தன்னை சாதித்துக் கொள்ளும். அடக்கமும், அகந்தையழிந்த நிலையும், சுபாவத்தை சரணம் செய்ய உதவும். சுபாவம் சரணாகதியை ஏற்றால் உறுதியின் இலட்சியம் பூர்த்தியாகும்.
- Surrender requires a skill, even when it is an organised power. It is a skill that stays clear of ego.
அகந்தையிடம் அகப்படாமலிருக்க அடக்கத்தால்தான் முடியும். அடக்கத்திடம் அகந்தை தோற்கும்.
- The universe is a self-conceptive extension. Surrender is the self-conception of the being that begins to evolve… surrender is the counterpart of the being that begins to evolve… Surrender is the counterpart of the Self-determination that made creation possible.
சிருஷ்டித்தவன் சரணடைய முயல்கிறான்.

அறிவுக்கும், அறியாமைக்கும் இடைப்பட்டது சரணாகதி எனும் ஞானம். அறியாமை ருசிக்காவிட்டால், சரணாகதி தோன்றும்.

சரணாகதிக்கு ஆனந்தம் உண்டு. உடலில் நன்றியாகவும், உயிரில் சந்தோஷமாகவும், ஆன்மாவில் அன்பாகவும் அது தெரியும். ஆனந்தமில்லாமல் சரணாகதியில்லை.

மூன்று காலங்களிலும் சரணாகதிக்குரிய ரூபம் உண்டு. காலத்தில் சரணாகதி என்பது கீழ்ப்படிதலாகும்.

- When the body does not understand the ideal accepted by the emotions, God wants your child to be cooked. Surrender of the body is hastened by God’s demanding your child’s life.
பிள்ளையைக் கறி சமைக்க உடல் சரணாகதியை மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
- Surrender raises itself to its full value only when we recognise that it is really the conquest of the universe. Surrender conquers by humility.
அடக்கம் ஆனந்தமாவது சரணாகதி.
- We live in the past, enjoy it, call it nostalgia. To surrender the past is to conquer the future, to enrich the present into eternity. Surrender conquers Time.
சரணாகதி காலத்தை வென்று, உயர்த்தி கடந்த நிலையைக் கடந்து சிருஷ்டியை பிரம்மமாக்கும்.
- A poor man getting the greatest conceivable opportunity becomes miserable plagued by expectation that will ruin it. The knowledge that expectation is ruinous makes it worse. Surrender of the expectation is not possible, but surrender of the past folly, assertion, failures is possible which will quell expectation. Surrender dissolves expectation when the past is surrendered.
எதிரியான எதிர்பார்ப்பை அழிப்பது சரணாகதி.
- When the global market is in a downturn, there is nothing anyone can do, much less a sole individual. Not so when the past is surrendered. Past surrendered will reverse global market going down.
ஊழிக்கால உளைச்சலை மாற்றவல்லது சரணாகதி.
- The miser is miserable in enjoying his accumulation. He enjoys misery miserably. Surrendering the Form of his energy which is misery, the miser will be ushered into the wealth of the world to enjoy it universally.
கருமி கனிவு பெற உதவுவது சரணாகதி. மனிதனான இறைவன் மீண்டும் இறைவனாகும் உபாயம் சரணாகதி.
- One can conquer the enemy at the borders or stave off famine, but the rain that falls is not in his hands. One may have any prayer answered but cannot consecrate a single small act. In yoga, consecration is like the control of thoughts for an ordinary man.
ஊரை வெல்லலாம், உள்ளத்தை வெல்ல முடியாது.
- The centre of personality decides the scope of surrender. Surrender is limited by our centre.
நாம் யார் என்பது நம் சரணாகதியை நிர்ணயிக்கும்.
- When the victim of the tyranny penetrates it and reaches the truth inside, he can surrender to it if he wants to transform tyranny into Love. Surrender is the alchemy that transforms cruelty into Love.
கொடுமையை இனிமையாக்குவது சரணாகதி.

நாம் முயல்வது செயல், இறைவன் வெளிப்படுவது சரணாகதி.

ஆபத்தை சூட்சுமத்தால் அற்புதமாக்குவது சரணாகதி.

மடையன் தன் மகிமையை உணர்வது சரணாகதி.
- Sri Aurobindo working through Churchill and Wavell to stem Bengal famine is to work through the loyalty of the traitors, a method of Supermind. Traitor’s loyalty serves the Transcendent. It is His surrender to betrayal.
துரோகியின் விஸ்வாசம் இறைவனுக்குச் சேவை செய்யும்.
- Surrender is a knowledge of the whole comprising of the knowledge of the parts. Similarly, it is power, love and everything. Totality of methods is surrender.
பகுதிகள் சேர்ந்த முழுமை பிரம்மம். அம்சங்களின் பகுதிகள் சேர்ந்த முழுமை சரணாகதி.
- The gradation of knowledge begins with observation and trial and error. It ends by non-observing surrender. Surrender is the highest knowledge and the greatest power.
அறிவு, திறமை, அன்பு, நன்மை, சத்தியம், ஜோதி என்பவை அம்சங்கள். பிரம்மம் முழுமை. அதை அடையும் முழுமையான மார்க்கம் இவையல்ல. இவையனைத்தும் சேர்ந்தது சரணாகதி.
- The understanding of human will is ‘more is not possible’. The understanding of divine will is ‘anything is possible’. The transition is made by surrender.
முடியாது என்பது சரணாகதியால் முடியும் எனப் புரியும். முடியாது என்ற மனித முடிவை முடியும் என்ற தெய்வ சித்தமாக்குவது சரணாகதி.
- Human relationship demands violent total surrender of the other person to his own interests.
உறவு பிறர் நமக்கு சரணம் செய்வது. அடுத்தவர் சரணாகதி அன்பருக்கு இதம் தரும்.
- Involution or evolution is possible, not both at one time. It is possible for God who works it to greater possibilities of higher delight. Intellectuality matures into intuition through insight. Surrender of choice of the other side lets it grow.
சிருஷ்டியும் பரிணாமமும் சேர்வது இறைவன்.
- Social life is made possible by social initiative. Personal growth comes by individual initiative. God grows on earth and in man when man loses his individual as well as social initiatives. Personal social surrender calls the Divine on earth. ஆரம்பம் முடிவு ஆனந்தம்.
- Sins commited in the gross physical plane will be washed off in the subtle plane, and transformed in the causal plane, if presented to the Being.
சூட்சுமம் அழிக்கும், காரணம் மாற்றி உயர்த்தும்.
- After taking to consecration, those who are overburdened with work will find there is no work to be done and those who have much idle time on hand will find their hands fully occupied.
சமர்ப்பணம் வேலைகளைச் சுருக்கும். விரக்தியை விறுவிறுப்பாக்கும்.
- To all those who really know Her, there is only one work, consecration. A new way of life takes all life into itself. Once we know of consecration, there is no other work.
சமர்ப்பணத்தைக் கடந்து வேலை என்பது ஒன்றில்லை.
- Service is the shortcut to destruction when it is really true.
நாலுபேருக்கு நல்லது செய்ய முனைந்து வெற்றி பெற்றால், நாயை அடித்துப் போடுவதுபோல் அடித்துக் கொல்வார்கள்.
- A consecrated thought ends in a spot of light. Thought comes from light which issues out of consciousness. Consecration can take you to their origin.
சமர்ப்பணமான எண்ணம் ஒளியாகும்.
- When consecration that was deadlocked for years moves, it moves continuously and stops at a point where consciousness ends and the substance begins. A breakthrough has an end starting another level. Even in consciousness, there is a watershed between the surface and depth.
நகராத சமர்ப்பணம் நகர்ந்தபின் நிற்குமிடம் ஜீவியம் முடியுமிடம்.
- There is no consecration in idleness. Work pushes consecration away. True consecration is in work.
வேலையில்லாதபொழுது சமர்ப்பணமில்லை. வேலையிருக்கும் பொழுது சமர்ப்பணம் கடினம். வேலையில் செய்யும் சமர்ப்பணமே சமர்ப்பணம். வேலையும் சமர்ப்பணமும் ஒன்றே.
- Consecration when commensurate with the intensity of the problem is unfailing. Commensurate consecration compels solution.
ஆழ்ந்த சமர்ப்பணத்திற்கு தவறாது வழி பிறக்கும். சமர்ப்பணம் சர்வபிரச்சினைகளையும் ஜீரணம் செய்யும்.
- When both alternatives are unacceptable, man seeks God in prayer or consecration. In the event one is acceptable, he relies on himself. Consecration is valid when both are acceptable alternatives.
சமர்ப்பணம் தன்னைக் கடப்பது, உறுதிப்படுத்துவதில்லை. முடியாததைக் கேட்பது பிரார்த்தனை, சமர்ப்பணமில்லை.
- To let Her do what we can do is to let Her do it better and it is consecration.
முடிந்ததை சமர்ப்பணம் செய்தால், முடியாதது சமர்ப்பணமாகும். முடிந்ததைத் தராமல் முடியாததைத் தர முடியாது.

அன்னை முன்னே, அனைத்தும் பின்னே. அன்னை மட்டுமுள்ள அகம் சமர்ப்பணத்திற்குரியது.
- The boy of first generation of education in passing through school and college discovers at the end of education the end of a long, unendurable, arduous journey. It is the beginning of a more exacting career. Consecration succeeds like education, while surrender begins like career.
மலை உச்சிக்குப் போனபின் மடுவில் குதிக்க வேண்டும். கஷ்டத்தின் முடிவு கடுமையின் ஆரம்பம். கடுமையின் முடிவு கொடுமையின் ஆரம்பம்.
- Psychic cannot be reached by concentration. It can be reached only by consecration.
சமர்ப்பணத்திற்குரிய தியானம் சர்வேஸ்வரனுடைய தியானம்.
- All the roots of all the problems lie in the past awaiting consecration.
நடந்தது கடந்ததிலுள்ளது.
- In consecrating the work on hand, the entire past consecration is included. One act of consecration travels all over the universe.
நடப்பதுள் நடந்தது மறைந்துள்ளது. சமர்ப்பணம் பிரபஞ்சத்திற்குரிய செயல்.
- Thought is as powerful as an act in the consecrated atmosphere of devotion.
நினைவே செயல். திருட நினைத்தால், உரிமையில்லாததை ஆசைப்பட்டால் திருடு போகும்.
- Consecration begins when the motive of the being desires surrender. It is completed when the luminous imperative overcomes the dark imperative of our physical substance.
உடலின் ஜடம் ஒளிமயமானால் சமர்ப்பணம் சரணாகதியாகிப் பூர்த்தியாகும்.
- To make the unregenerate vital grateful is a sure way of sparing it the necessity of hurting the benefactor.
நன்றி எழுந்தால் பஸ்மாசூரனாக வேண்டாம்.
- To consecrate from another’s point of view is better.
எதையும் சுயநலமாகச் செய்யலாம். அதுபோல் சமர்ப்பணமும் சுயநலமாகலாம்.
மயிரிழை நகர்ந்தால் மலை நகரும்.
