Satisfaction and Aspiration

Mr. Garry Jacobs
Notes:

Mother says Satisfaction depends on what we are inside not external circumstances. Experiences of pain, pleasure and ananda depend on our consciousness. Here Mother means by satisfaction the capacity to experience the peace, joy and divine ananda that are present in all life. It is our ignorance, unconsciousness, desires and ego that stand in the way and should be overcome. IN another sense to be satisfied is to level off and stop growing. Aspiration is the power for accomplishment -- you can become whatever you want to become. Aspiration is the divine urge in us for spiritual progress and perfection in life -- that is the Yoga of Self-Perfection. In this sense satisfaction is the opposite of aspiration. Aspiration is Divine. His message is that we are here to seek perfection and divinity in life.
