Role of social power and individuality in accomplishment, social progress, and spiritual evolution

Speaker(s):
Mr. Garry Jacobs
Notes:

Force and power exist at many levels -- material force of nature, life force prana, social force of society, power of mind, spiritual and supramental. Each successively higher level is more powerful than the previous. The more subtle the more powerful. The supramental has power over all, even death. Social power is an expression of the consciousness and energy/will of the social collective, mostly subconscious, partially conscious. For any accomplishment in society, the social consciousness must consent and lend its power. Otherwise the initiative will fail or get postponed for social preparedness. The individual is the conscious leader, catalyst, for all social change and innovation, a conscious representative of the conscious and subconscious attitudes and aspirations of the collective, through which it acts. This is the basis for the theory of personal accomplishment, social development and spiritual evolution.
