Honesty and sincerity in evaluating oneself

Date:
April 9, 2022
Speaker(s):
Mr. Garry Jacobs
Notes:

Sincerity is spiritual truthfulness. It will always lead us toward the divine. But the immediate result of being truthful to others depends on our motive for doing so (to show our humility or modesty) as well as the result we hope to gain by it (e.g. to impress the other person and be rewarded for honesty or to be sincere to Mother which its own reward. The motive determines the result. Dishonesty and falsehood is harder to change in others than ignorance because ignorance is merely unconsciousness while falsehood is conscious intentional perverse denial of truth.
