Realizing the psychic

Realization of the psychic is the first essential step in Integral Yoga leading to the psychic transformation, followed by the spiritual and supramental transformations. Though the first essential step, it is a great spiritual realization of inestimable value because it puts us in direct touch with the Divine. Though in tradition it can take 30 years or many life times, that minimum does not apply to those in Mother's consciousness with the faith, sincerity, aspiration and willingness to surrender. More so the rule of time is not applicable after the descent of the supramental consciousness in 1956. It depends only on the strength of our opening, trust and consecration to Mother. Even long before the psychic realization is attained, the contact and awakening of the psychic deep within us can bring us the boons of the spirit's touch in our lives -- peace, joy, cheerfulness, contentment, courage, purity, goodness, love and delight, etc. So the search for the psychic is always a self-rewarding experience and each step toward its discovery carries its own reward and takes us one step closer, nearer and dearer to Mother.
