Shifting from ego to psychic is a reversal of consciousness where we begin to see ourselves and the world around us from a totally different perspective. He know we are a part and an expression of the Divine striving to let the Divine act through us and we know everything that comes to us in the world as also expressions of the Divine and the Divine Will. Phileaus Fogg's certainty and calm are spiritual influences which emanate from the psychic, not the faith or conviction of mind or the courage of the vital alone. Faith and intuition are complementary powers -- faith is more of the will, intuition more of the knowledge. But a complete Faith includes both. At their highest they both are reflections of supramental consciousness.
