Definitions of Consecration and "Samarpam" (?)

Date:
May 31, 2022
Speaker(s):
Mr. Garry Jacobs
Notes:

Consecration is to do an act for the sake of the Divine, as an offering to the Divine, to fulfill Thy Will rather than my will; as an act of self-giving rather than an egoistic clamoring for the results of action; to offer ourselves to the Divine in and through the act; to offer our human nature to the Divine so that it may be transformed into the Divine higher nature; to become an instrument of the divine and a center of self-expression of the divine consciousness; to act selflessly offering oneself to the highest truth or ideal one is conscious of. To remember the divine before, during and after the act and invoke the divine to express in and through the act. To make of oneself an offering to the Divine.
