Swabhava – Character – Efficiency

December 10,  2001

  • Atma, Purusha, Ishwara are the three aspects in which the Self meets us.
  • They work through their powers Maya, Prakriti, Shakti.
  • Maya is conceptively creative, Prakriti is dynamically executive and Shakti is both conceptively creative and dynamically executive.
  • Man has nature, character and efficiency.
  • Nature is swabhava characterised by caution, alertness, patience, responsibility, compassion, etc. Character is mainly the organisation of energies that have experience marked by the opposites of strength or weakness, fear or courage, enduring or not, formed or informed. Efficiency combines both when character expresses nature in work.
  • We can observe it in others and in ourselves.
  • We express our efficiency in work mainly in our office or work spot. Character is seen at home and in close relationships, while our nature is kept to ourselves.
  • Man is the Absolute in life called the relative.
  • Man carries the parallel of the Self-Conscious Being which is the first expression of the Absolute.
  • We can construct a parallel between them as follows.

Maya-the conceptively creative power

- Human nature

Prakriti-the dynamically executive power

- character

Shakti-both conceptively creative and

             dynamically executive

- efficiency.

  • People who are close in the family see man's character. At work his efficiency is seen, while his nature is kept to himself.
  • It is easy for us to see that his efficiency combines his nature and character in his work.

Again this one seems to me

Again this one seems to me different post...some of the points are different as compared to others , like ,"Maya is conceptively creative, Prakriti is dynamically executive and Shakti is both conceptively creative and dynamically executive.Man has nature, character and efficiency.Nature is swabhava characterised by caution, alertness, patience, responsibility, compassion, etc. Character is mainly the organisation of energies that have experience marked by the opposites of strength or weakness, fear or courage, enduring or not, formed or informed.
