Series XVI 651) Silence descends into the body as inertia. தமஸ் உடலின் மௌனம். 652) Love enables one to be blind about the
beloved. Acceptance out of understanding or necessity refuses to see the
blemishes in the other. அன்பின் கண்ணுக்கு குறை நிறைவாகத் தெரியும். ஆசையின் அவசியம் குறையைப் பொருட்படுத்தாது. 653) He who touches the psychic once does not
lose that ability to return, as he has the right to that choice. One's whole
being should consent to be in the being forever. சைத்தியபுருஷனை அடைந்த பின் அந்தத் திறமை போகாது. வேண்டும் பொழுது அங்கு போகலாம். நிலையாக அங்கேயே இருக்க ஜீவன் முழுவதும் சம்மதிக்க வேண்டும். சலிப்பு பிரகிருதி. நிறைவு சைத்தியபுருஷன். 654) Getting out of the imprisonment of mind,
one can travel to all the planes ― Truth, Spirit, Sat, Chit, Ananda,
Absolute. மனம் என்ற சிறையை விட்டு வெளிவந்தால் பிரம்மம் முதல், சத்தியம், ஆன்மா, சத், சித், ஆனந்த லோகங்கட்குப் போகலாம். 655) Just because one is at the top of a
profession or in the thick of it, without a wider perspective he cannot know
all the opportunities that exist. புதிய
பார்வையில்லாமல் தொழில் அனுபவம் அங்குள்ள வாய்ப்புகளை அறிவிக்காது. 656) Surrender exists in several stages. At
least once we should reach the very last stage of surrender beyond which no
effort ever exists. சொல், உணர்வு, செயல், ஜீவன், ஜீவியம் எனப் பல நிலைகளில் சரணாகதியுள்ளது. ஒரு முறையாவது, ஒரு சிறிதளவாவது முடிவு வரை சரணாகதியை அனுபவிக்க வேண்டும். 657) Exhausting the effort makes surrender
possible. சரணாகதி பலிக்க முயற்சி முழுமை பெற வேண்டும். 658) Crises in life or greed reduces
circumstances to that of a refugee camp. Individual's character rises to the
occasion. நெருக்கடி வந்தால் மனிதன் மிருகமாவான். அவசியத்திற்காக அசிங்கத்தையும் செய்வான். 659) There are cultures where chastity in women
has no inherent value. கற்பின் அவசியத்தை உணராத சமூகம் உலகில் உண்டு. 660) மெய், சுயமரியாதை, உழைப்பு, கற்பு, ஆகியவை சமூகத்திற்கு உயிர் நாடி. ஒவ்வொரு சமூகம் ஒவ்வொன்றை ஏற்கிறது. அனைத்தையும் எந்த சமூகமும் ஏற்பதில்லை. Individuality, self-respect, work-ethic, Truth,
chastity are the lifelines of societies. Each society makes its choice. No
one accepts all the values. 661) Sub-vital, sub-physical people will be
loyal in their slavery, would not want freedom. All their skills are skills
of obedience. கொத்தடிமைக்கு அடிமையே சுகம், சுதந்திரம். சுதந்திரம் அவனை உறுத்தும், திறமையாகச் செயல்பட முடியாது. 662) When you do not understand The Life
Divine you can consecrate the ununderstanding. If it brings
understanding, it is the right consecration. The Life Divine புரியாத பொழுது புரியவில்லை என்பதை சமர்ப்பணம் செய்து புரிந்தால், சமர்ப்பணம் சரியானது. 663) நாம் எதற்கு சமர்ப்பணம் செய்கிறோமோ அதாக மாறுவோம் எனில் எறும்பு யானைக்குச் சமர்ப்பணம் செய்தால் யானை பலம் வரும். எறும்பையும், யானையையும் உற்பத்தி செய்தது ஒரே பிரம்மம். எறும்பு அப்பிரம்மத்தை சமர்ப்பணத்தால் அடைந்தது எனப் பொருள். We
become that to which we consecrate. The ant that consecrates itself to the
elephant gets the strength of the elephant, i.e. it realises that Brahman who
created both. Consecration realises the Brahman that is blossoming in
creation. நம்மை
பிரம்மமாக்கி, பிரம்மஜனனத்தை அறிவிப்பது சமர்ப்பணம். 664) To understand Time and Space, one needs to
understand the eternity of the Eternal and the infinity of the infinite. அனந்தம் புரிந்தால் இடம் புரியும். காலத்தைக் கடந்தவனின் கடந்த நிலை புரிந்தால் காலம் புரியும். சமூகம் புரிந்தால் சர்க்கார் புரியும். மனிதன் புரிந்தால் சுபாவம் புரியும். 665) Liken Time to money and Space to
production, assuming the society is Spirit. சமூகம் ஆன்மாவானால், காலம் பணமாகும், இடம் உற்பத்தி யாகும். 666) ஆணுக்குத் தேவையானது பெண்ணின் அரவணைப்பு. பெண்ணுக்குத் தேவையானது பிள்ளை, அதைக் காப்பாற்றும் சொத்தும் பணமும். பணம் பெற்ற பெண் ஆணைக் கை விடுவாள். ஆதரவு பெற்ற ஆண் அடுத்த பெண்ணை நாடுவான். ஆதரவை அன்னையிடம் பெறும் ஆணும், சொத்தாக அன்னையைக் கருதும் பெண்ணும், இணைபிரியா தம்பதி களாவர். Man seeks psychological support.
Woman needs physical security. On getting it, each will desert the other.
Both seeking each in Mother are real complements in life. 667) Money has three statuses like Time: 1) the
potential mental power to create money, 2) the individual capacity that earns
money behind each skill and 3) the innate mental power to earn money
expressing as individual capacity behind each skill. காலத்தையும், ஜீவனையும் போல் பணத்திற்கு மூன்று நிலைகள் உள்ளன. 1) மனம் பணம் ஈட்டும் திறமை பெற்றது 2) வேலையில் திறமை பணம் ஈட்டும் 3) மனத்தின் திறமை வேலையில் வெளிப்படுதல். 668) Behind the thoughts and feelings lie their
energies. They are moved by mental, vital urges. These urges are human forces
issuing from the forces of Nature. Consecration as well as surrender must
move along those lines. எண்ணம் சக்தியிலிருந்தும், சக்தி இயற்கையின் சக்தியின்றும் எழுவதால் சமர்ப்பணமும், சரணாகதியும் படிப்படியாக உயர வேண்டும். 669) Rome was not built in a day, nor was God
discovered in one single millennium. உலகம்
க்ஷணத்தில் சிருஷ்டிக்கப்படவில்லை. ஆண்டவனை ஆயிரம் ஆண்டில் காண முடியாது. 670) Passionate intensity acts exactly in its
ferocity as noble idealism. வெறிபிடித்தவன் வேகம் உயர்ந்த இலட்சியவாதியாகவும் நடக்கும். 671) Silent Will pursued to its logical end
becomes Silent Existence. மௌனமாகத் தொடர்ந்து செயல்பட்டால் அது மௌனமான சத்தில் முடியும். 672) பிடியை விட்ட பின்னரே மனிதன் பிடிபடுவான். Man becomes free only when he ceases to possess. 673) பிடியை விட்டவனுக்குப் பிடிபடுவான். One can possess Him when possessiveness dissolves. Possessiveness prevents
Possession. 674) It is the privilege of life to compel mind
to rationality by an act of provocative irrationality. நியாயத்தின் அநியாயத்தை உணர்த்த அபாண்டமாகப் பழி சுமத்துவது வாழ்வின் அமிர்தமான உரிமை. 675) உயர்ந்தது ஆட்கொள்வதை அறிந்து எதிர்த்துத் தடுப்பது நாம் உரிமை என்பது. When heaven is anxious to absorb us, the awakened
smallness in us actively prevents us in the name of right or liberty. 676) An international convention to wipe out
anachronisms and superstitions in which no one believed can give the world,
by the implementation of its findings, a clear sweep of a quarter of a
century. அறிவுக்குத் தெரியும் அர்த்தமற்றது விலக்கப்பட்டால் 50 ஆண்டு முன்னேறலாம். 677) Fools always ask for advice. Those who
advise them are fools. மடையன் யோசனை கேட்பான். அவனுக்கு யோசனை கூறுபவன் மடையன். 678) The decision to surrender, which is
abiding, is not taken by the mind. It is done not even by the soul, but by
the evolving soul. நிலையான சரணாகதிக்குரிய முடிவை மனமோ ஆத்மாவோ எடுக்க முடியாது. வளரும் ஆன்மாவான சைத்தியபுருஷனால் மட்டும் எடுக்க முடியும். 679) Your surrender must be made by you, not by
another, not even your guru, as no one can pass an exam on your behalf. சரணாகதி நமக்குரியது. அருள் அன்னை வழங்குவது. இரண்டறக் கலந்த நிலைக்கு சரணாகதியும் தேவையில்லை. 680) எப்பொழுது நாம் பேசும் விஷயம் மனத்திலில்லாமலிருக்க முடியும். It may not be on your mind at all, though you often
speak of it. 681) His writings, especially The Synthesis
of Yoga while giving the argument also offers the power to receive. அன்பின் பரிசு அமிர்தமானது. 682) Service demands a higher status. You
cannot serve humanity while you are human. சேவைக்கு உயர்வு தேவை. மனிதனுக்கு சேவை செய்ய மனிதனால் முடியாது. 683) Methods yield results inch by inch. Only
surrender gives all the results at once. முழுப் பலனும் உடனே வருவது சரணாகதி. எந்த முறைக்கும் பலன் உண்டு. அணுஅணுவாகப் பலன் தருவது முறை. அனைத்தையும் தருவது சரணாகதி. 684) Preparedness for surrender or consecration
is hailed by the slackening urge for action. பரபர எனப் பறக்கும் துடிப்பு அடங்குவது சரணாகதிக்குத் தயாராவதாகும். 685) Honour is the sublimated version of the noblest
expression of possessiveness. மானம்
என்பது பற்றறுத்தவரின் உன்னதமான பற்றை மனம் பாராட்டுவதாகும். 686) Nascent energy ready for action that is
fearless is devoid of all inhibition but still aspires for sublime something
through its valueless dynamism. புரட்சியின் புதுமலர் தைரியமாக பண்பின் கட்டுப்பாடின்றி வெட்கம் மானமில்லாமல் உயர்ந்த உன்னத நிலையை உயிரை விட்டு நாடும். 687) Silence coming from below is from work
that drains mental energy while coming from above is SILENCE pure. உடல் உழைப்பு மனத்தை மௌனமாக்கும். உயரேயிருந்து வருவது தூய மௌனம். 688) Consecrated work of the body drains the
energy of the mind which goes silent. Also it draws the original SILENCE
from above into the mind. சமர்ப்பணமான செயல் மனத்தை மௌனமாக்குவதுடன், மேலேயுள்ள மௌனத்தை மனத்தை நோக்கி ஈர்க்கும். 689) The loss of the devotee when he looks back
will be considerable ― all that he needs to lose. அன்பனுக்கு நஷ்டம் ஏராளம். அத்தனையும் இழக்க வேண்டியவை. 690) கனிவு பிறந்த பின் கறுப்புள்ளமும் கருணை நிறைந்து தெரியும். When compassion is born, the black soul too will be
seen full of kindness inside. 691) Civilisation
offers greater respect to the lowly individual. At the same time its
destructive weapons, material and psychological, are getting sophisti-cated. மனிதனுக்கு மரியாதை உயரும் பொழுது ஆயுதமும், மனமும் இருளடைகின்றன. 692) Making one speak the Truth by force,
converts Truth into falsehood. சத்தியம் சுயமானது. பலவந்தமான உண்மை பொய்யாகும். 693) Higher social knowledge without organised
power in the society made USSR become a police state. தெம்பில்லாதவன் பெற்ற ஞானம் கொடுமையாகும். 694) The Muslim jehad, police state, caste
system, play of money power are all MAN
reaching the unreachable and living under the illusion of power
that he does not possess. ஜெஹாத், போலீஸ் ராஜ்யம், ஜாதி, பணத்தின் ராஜ்யம் ஆகியவை மனிதன் இல்லாததை நாடி பெற்றதாக நினைத்து மகிழும் மாயை. 695) A thinker explains; a seer inspires. Sri
Aurobindo's Force acts without doing either, but the inspiration is in the
air and the explanation enters the head on its own. அறிஞன் விளக்கம் தருகிறான். மகான் மகிமையை உணர்த்து கிறார். ஸ்ரீ அரவிந்தருடைய சக்தி இரண்டையும் செய்யாமல் மௌனமாகச் செயல்படுகிறது. இருப்பினும் உள்ளத்தில் உவகை பூக்கிறது. மனத்தில் தெளிவு பிறக்கிறது. 696) A subjective historian using objective
facts cannot give us objective history. எதிரி
வழங்கும் நியாயம் உலகுக்கு நியாயம். 697) To write history from the point of view of
history, it is not enough the writer is objective. He must be impersonal. வரலாறு தன் சரித்திரத்தைக் கூற ஆசிரியர் நடுவு நிலை பெற்றால் போதாது. அனந்த குணம் பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும். 698) Objectivity about the rival is generosity. எதிரியைப் பற்றிய உண்மையைக் கூறுவது பெருந்தன்மை. 699) Mind, at best, can develop objectivity
about itself. It is not capable of generosity which requires objectivity of
the impersonal. மனம் தன்னைப் பற்றி நடுநிலை பெறுவதே சிரமம். பெருந் தன்மை மனத்திற்குரியதல்ல. அது அனந்த குணத்தின் நடுவு நிலை. 700) Professionals gain knowledge of their
professions during their service. Knowledge gained thus is more important
than practising it. Yoga gives us that knowledge of accomplishment.
Accomplishment itself is easy once we gain that knowledge. சட்டத்தை வக்கீலும், பாடத்தை ஆசிரியரும், வைத்தியத்தை மருத்துவரும் அனுபவத்தால் பெறுகின்றனர். அனுபவம் முக்கியம். செயல்படுத்திப் பலன் பெறுவது எளிது. பணம் எப்படி உற்பத்தியாயிற்று என யோகம் கூறுகிறது. அந்த ஞானம் பெரியது. ஞானம் பெற்ற பின் பணம் சம்பாதிப்பது எளிது. The Life Divine காலம், இடம், ஆன்மா, மனம், வாழ்வு, ஜடம் உற்பத்தியாவதைக் கூறுகிறது. பணம் இவற்றிற்கு உட்பட்டது. நாம் இவற்றை அறிவதால் பணம் பிரபஞ்சத்தில் எப்படி சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்டது என அறியலாம். அதை அறிந்த பின் கோடீஸ்வரனாவது எளியது. |
