Purification, rationality

Purification is to attain freedom from ego, ignorance, fear, want, desire, and such qualities. Each must be replaced with a higher counterpart. We give up sorrow and attain joy, we give up fear and attain courage, or give up ignorance to acquire knowledge. We need to overcome irrationality to become mental. Rationality begins when suspicion ends.
