Rules and Codes of conduct

Date:
February 14, 2022
Speaker(s):
Mr. Garry Jacobs
Notes:

Mother's Prayer dated .......: Rules of behavior are artificial lights, expression of present limited knowledge. They are essential for all human life but we should never be limited by them. Life is infinitely varied and evolves over time, so the fixed rule can never be perfectly applicable to all situations and it too changes over time. Judging others according to our fixed conceptions limits our capacity to relate to others and imposed limits on their capacity for development and progress through our relations. Every soul has infinite potential. We can become what we will to become. Therefore, in honoring what people are or how they act today, we should not fail to recognize their capacity for progress, as Darcy transformed himself in his relation to Elizabeth.
