Creative Power of Silence, Action and Initiative

Notes:

Silence of the higher spiritual realms beyond the thinking mind is infinitely more powerful and creative than the normal human consciousness though it appears to be a form of emptiness. It is like Potential Energy of the huge boulder at the top of a mountain which is immobile and appears to be energyless but when it is pushed over the edge it acquires a huge kinetic energy of motion tumbling down the mountain. That is why silence is said to be more powerful than works and non-initiative of the ego is far more powerful than egoistic initiatives. Action refers to physical movement. Initiative refers to the uncontrollable urge of our lower nature of desire and ego to act for its own satisfaction. Non-initiative is to withhold and master the energies of our lower nature and wait either for a higher inspiration from within or a response from life outside. We are always acting, even when we are sitting still. But by conscious initiative is we mean actions impelled by our egoistic urges and desires of our lower nature rather than higher and deeper spiritual inspirations.
